Damn, I'm sorry, Chaos. The timing could have been worse, but not by much. At least you managed to cancel the cards before anything got charged on them.

On saturday morning as I left for work I discovered that the day before on my long shift someone had managed to get into my locked locker and steal my wallet and new phone.
So I spent a good part of my morning swearing and cancelling my cards, luckily none had been used I think the person was after cash.
It has been a real pain as I had everything in my wallet and its not like I don't have enough to do with my holiday just 3 weeks away.
Its happened about 3 times at our work now tho' the other ones were when the people left their keys in their lockers.
It makes me mad as my work is really good and we're all really good mates, its probably one of the newer people. It just really is sickening that people you trust would steal from you.
I'm hoping because my locker was actually locked the company will pay for my new phone as I can't afford one it was $250 and I need it for when I'm away.
Aaargh! I have never wanted someone's head on a plate so much. [img]graemlins/dish.gif[/img] I have spent the last 4 months working extra hours and being really strict not buying stuff I want so I will have more money for my holiday and then someone is rude enough to steal off me a few weeks beforehand.
*sigh*
I seem to have been using the angryface alot lately.
Of course Saturday night was our Midwinter Christmas party (Jungle theme the bastard also stole my ticket I still got in tho' just no free 1st drink)

Chaos, that sucks when that happens. I used to go to work where they gave us lockers. I never used it except for coats and gloves in the wintertime. Even though my workmates were nice people, I've trusted none of them. And I don't trust any of the ones I have now.
Now, there was something on the news about some drunk zebra...

That sucks Chaos! Bad enough when anything gets stolen, even worse when it's by someone you should be able to trust (ie: a co-worker).
I too keep an absolute minimum of stealable things in any work-related storage. Of course that's not always possible, which I suppose is why they give you lockers... Security cameras anyone?
